You can buy team equipment directly from the CAS BREA Store. You can browse for equipment and buy on line via their website. They are also a sponsor of our team and are at our home swim meets. They can buy equipment from them at their store or at some of the local swim meets that we participate in.
Southern California Swimming
Southern California Swimming (SoCal Swimming) is our Local Swimming Committee (LSC). We are a part of Orange Section. You can go to their website and download meet entry forms and any other forms that you need. A lot of local swimming information can be found on their website including full results for all our swim meets, upcoming swim meets, and time standards for Blue, Red, and White swimmers, as well as National Time Standards. Their site is a key resource for swimming.
USA Swimming
USA Swimming contains national swimming information and is a very valuable swimming resource for swimmers, parents, and coaches. They have national and international swimming information of USA swimmers. On their website you can find who is on the national team, national team records, national and international meet results. They have a Club Excellence program that only the elite swim teams are members. BREA swim team is a Silver Club members and we have continue to move up from a low bronze team to a middle silver team.

Speedo is also a sponsor of the Tip of the Week that appears on the USA Swimming Website. The tip of the week contains very valuable information for swimmers and coaches written by world class swimmers and coaches. You can learn from them directly and clearly. All areas of swimming are included including practice philosophy, preparing for the big race, kick and stroke improvement, and even mental preparation for your next event.
Olympics
The marquee event for swimming is the Summer Olympics that occur every four years. This past Olympics saw some amazing accomplishments and records set by American swimmers. The next Olympics will be in London 2012. The USA Swimming Team normally does very well. Don't miss it and maybe we'll see a Brea Aquatics swimmer at the Olympics soon.
CIF Southern Section
When you swim for your high school team you swim under control of the CIF Southern Section. On their site you can find important information about swimming for your high school. You can also find swimming time standards that you have to meet to go to the CIF swim meet at the end of the swimming season. Most of our high school swimmers make it to CIF in at least one event. How many events will you swim in?

United States Masters Swimming Masters swimming is an organized program of swimming for adults. Members participate in a variety of ways ranging from lap swimming to international competition. Go to their website to learn more about the program.
Swimmming World is a magazine designed for the swimmer. There are loads of articles about swimmers, swimming techniques, and key events in the swimming world. It is a magazine designed and written for the competitive and fitness audience. Their website contains much information that can benefit the swimmer.
